Dubai, the city of innovation and avant-garde, embarks on a new project that will transform its urban landscape: Therme Dubai – Islands in the Sky. This ambitious complex, which fuses the vision of an urban oasis with wellness-oriented infrastructures, has been approved by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.
The project, a collaboration between the architecture firm Diller Scofidio + Renfro and the Therme Group, will be situated in Zabeel Park, adjacent to the Royal Palace, in the heart of Dubai. With an area of 500,000 square meters and a height of 100 meters, this complex will become a new icon of the Dubai skyline.
Therme Dubai – Islands in the Sky will offer its visitors a unique holistic wellness experience, with suspended botanical gardens, stacked terraces, cascading pools with thermal and mineral waters, and spaces for cultural and social events.
The complex has been designed with a focus on sustainability, incorporating innovations and technologies to reduce environmental impact and maximize benefits for the community. 90% of the thermal pool water will be recycled, and 80% of fresh air and cooling needs will be met with clean energy sources.
Therme Dubai – Islands in the Sky is a testament to Dubai’s commitment to creating a sustainable urban future focused on the well-being of its citizens. Construction is expected to begin in 2026 and be completed in 2028.
